Wilders - the right-wing politician known for his extremist views against Arabs and Muslims - published a video clip on Twitter today, Tuesday, documenting the performance of dozens of Muslims praying inside and outside the "Sunna" mosque in The Hague, Netherlands.
Wilders - who is the head of the far-right anti-Islam and anti-immigrant "For Freedom" party - attached the video clip to a comment in which he said: "This is the Netherlands in 2023. The Sunna Mosque in the Hague, our streets are full of Muslim worshipers. The Netherlands is no longer Holland."
This is not the first time that Wilders has incited against Muslims, as he has been known to broadcast hate messages against them for years, in an effort to expel them from the country.
It is worth noting that Twitter blocked Wilders' account in April last year, on the background of a tweet in which he attacked Islam, and in which he referred to Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
Wilders has been living under police protection since 2004 after receiving death threats. He is a staunch opponent of Islam and immigration to the Netherlands, and uses his Twitter account actively to attack Islamists and immigrants seeking asylum.
And his party pledged in 2021, in its electoral program for the years 2021-2025, to establish a “Ministry of Purification from Islam,” and it also pledged to define the Islamic religion as a “totalitarian ideology,” as well as ban mosques and Islamic schools and prevent the spread of Islamic thought through the Holy Qur’an.
His party's electoral program also included implementing a ban on wearing the veil in public places, stopping asylum applications, and closing refugee centers.
